Pitbull

Is a breed of dog originally from the United States. Occasionally confused with the American Staffordshire Terrier, with which it shares origins, but differs in terms of standard and selection criteria. It should not be confused with the Staffordshire bull terrier or the English bull terrier. The American Pit Bull Terrier is not recognized by the FCI, its records and standard being in charge of the UKC and ADBA mainly, each with their own canon of the breed, which do not differ much.

Pit bulls currently perform in the detection of narcotics, in security services, as pets and as prey dogs in boar hunting.
